Teacher Elizabeth Casazza is the yearbook club’s faculty advisor. She is working with a team of high school students to produce the 2018 volume. Taking leading roles in the book’s production are students Ethan Garcia (senior editor), Michael Bradford (chief designer), Lauren White (recording secretary), Katharine Kitzen (senior class coordinator), Katarina Obermaier (project manager) and Sarah Montreuil (treasurer).
The yearbook club is still looking for photographers and writers to help with the development and production of the 2018 edition of The Huntingtonian. Students can speak with Mrs. Casazza at the high school or send a message to [email protected] to express their interest in joining the staff.
Huntington High School students have been producing a yearbook in a format similar to today since 1930. Prior to that the annual publication took on a more of a pamphlet type form. The yearbook has been published continuously with the exception of 1934, when the Great Depression prevented the yearbook from being issued.
